The latest addition to the 2024 presidential primary field will keynote a Lincoln Day Dinner in Warren County later this month.
Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who announced his candidacy on Sunday, is the first 2024 presidential candidate to appear in the bluegrass state. He will address Republicans on April 14th at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green.
“We are grateful that Governor Hutchison will be joining the Southern Kentucky Lincoln Day Dinner this year,” said Timothy Gilliam, RPWC Chairman. “With a lot of attention on our own governor’s race this year, we are looking forward to hearing from Governor Hutchinson about his record in Arkansas and his vision for the future of the Republican Party.”
“I am looking forward to joining the Republican Party of Warren County for their annual Lincoln DayDinner,” said Gov. Asa Hutchinson, the 46th Governor of Arkansas and senior official in President George W. Bush’s administration. “Kentucky has a proud history of standing firm in their consistent conservative values and the foundation of that tradition can be found in Warren County.”
The five leading candidates in Kentucky’s GOP gubernatorial primary will also be on hand to address party faithful. Kentucky primary voters head to the polls on May 16.
