Fireworks, the former president, and the Kentucky Republican candidate for governor are on tap for a conservative bash in Northern Kentucky.
Former Republican gubernatorial hopeful Eric Deters is hosting and organizing an event in Kentucky this September that he says will include Donald Trump, and GOP gubernatorial nominee Daniel Cameron.
On Tuesday, Deters announced the 3rd “Freedom Fest” at his Kenton County farm set to take place on Sept. 9, 2023.
Deters was a firebrand on the campaign trail, promoting Trump and his claims that the 2020 election was stolen. During the campaign, it was Deters who acted as a foil between Cameron, and former Ambassador Kelly Craft during their lone debate on KET.
With a close election predicted between Gov. Andy Beshear and Daniel Cameron, the Attorney General is planning to turn back toward his base months before the November election.
