Former Kentucky Auditor Adam Edelen is urging Louisville Democrats to cast their ballots for Craig Greenberg in the May 17 primary election.
Edelen, who ran for Governor in 2019, says in Kentucky and in Louisville “we” have not always made the right decisions about how to grow the economy, spread equality, and ensure public safety. And, he says, voting for Greenberg is an opportunity to elect someone to tackle these issues.
“I think that’s what Kentucky and Louisville need, a big bold leader who has a vision for the future. Who has the energy to implement that future and has the ability to bring people together,” Edelen says in the video.
Edelen has been friends with Greenberg for 25 years, and he is urging Democrats in Louisville to help Greenberg build a coalition to govern.
Jefferson Circuit Court Clerk David Nicholson, Shameka Parrish Wright, and Tim Findley Jr., have all raised money for the Democratic primary. On the Republican side, Jeffersontown Mayor Bill Dieruf is leading the GOP primary.
