Gov. Andy Beshear raised $1,058,945 for his reelection campaign in the third quarter of 2022, according to his campaign. The latest numbers show Beshear has now raised more than a million dollars in each quarter since filing for re-election and has more than $4.15M in cash on hand.
“I am honored by the confidence Kentuckians continue to show in the work we are doing every day to make the lives of our people better,” said Gov. Beshear. “With record new job announcements and a strong-and-getting-stronger economy, we’ve made it through some tough times and are now in a position to thrive. It is heart-warming to see folks from across the state pitch in to keep Kentucky moving forward.”
The fundraising report follows polling released on Monday by the Democratic Governors Association showing Beshear has 62 percent job approval rating in Kentucky. According to the poll, 42 percent of Trump voters also say they approve of Gov. Beshear’s performance. The findings of the poll come from a survey conducted by Garin-Hart-Yang among 601 likely voters in Kentucky between September 12-15. The survey’s margin of error is +4.1%.
