An independent-expenditure organization supporting the candidacy of Republican gubernatorial nominee Daniel Cameron has joined a cacophony of voices on TV.
Bluegrass Freedom Action is further trying to nationalize the governor’s race by tying Democratic incumbent Gov. Andy Beshear to President Joe Biden and highlighting areas where Beshear has faltered in Kentucky.
Medium Buying reported the ad first on Tuesday, the same day Cameron released his public safety plan.
Cameron’s safety plan includes 12 points including advocating for the death penalty for cop killers, calling for a state police post in Louisville, granting state police wiretapping powers, and increasing penalties on drug traffickers – bringing state law in line with federal law enforcement.
