After nearly 5 years in the newsroom of WDRB in Louisville, Kevin Wheatley is joining Norton Healthcare.
Wheatley, who covered the education beat for WDRB’s digital team, accepted a position with Norton as a communications project manager.
“I have appreciated the responsibility this role has offered me and the people who have befriended me and trusted me to tell their stories fairly and accurately,” Wheatley wrote announcing his departure from WDRB. “I trust this experience with serve me well as I transition to a brand new role with @Norton_Health as a communications project manager focusing on pediatrics. I know this job will come with unique challenges, but I am ready for the task. Thanks to all for the warm welcome!”
Wheatley formerly worked at the Frankfort State Journal and cn|2’s Pure Politics as a reporter. I worked with Kevin at Pure Politics, and wish him the very best in his new role with Norton.
