The Legislative Research Commission (LRC) is getting a familiar, yet fresh face as their new Public Information Officer.
Former Courier-Journal reporter Mike Wynn took over the role this week as former LRC Public Information Officer Rob Webber retired after nearly 25-years in the position.
Wynn has served in state government in several roles since leaving the newspaper in 2017, including time as the spokesperson for the Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet and as a public information officer with the Council on Postsecondary Education.
The Legislative Research Commission operates as the administrative and research arm of the Kentucky General Assembly.
