Creating a communications department last week, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce named Jacqueline Pitts as their first Vice President of Communications and Marketing.
Pitts has worked with the Kentucky Chamber since December of 2014, creating and managing ‘The Bottom Line,’ a resource for business-related news. In February 2017, Pitts was named director of communications for the Chamber.
“Now, more than ever, effective communications across a variety of platforms are crucial to the success of all businesses,” said Ashli Watts, President and CEO of the KY Chamber. “Jacqueline has been essential in ensuring all Kentucky businesses have the resources and information they need from the Chamber, especially over the last year where innovation drove our communication efforts helping businesses navigate all of the uncertainty around the pandemic. Jacqueline is a known and respected voice across Kentucky and is the perfect person to help lead the Chamber as we continue working to advance Kentucky,.”
Previously, Pitts worked as a political producer for cn|2 Pure Politics. Full disclosure, I worked with Jacquline at Pure Politics and wish her the best of luck and continued success in her new role.
